Terms & Refunds
Last updated: October 8, 2026
The short version: you buy a PDF guide, it's yours to read and print for yourself, and if it's not for you, email us within 14 days for a full refund. Our guides share general information, not professional advice.
These terms apply when you use readclearshelf.com or get a guide from Clearshelf. Clearshelf is run from Alberta, Canada. Questions? Email support@readclearshelf.com.
Buying a guide
- Our guides are digital PDF files. Nothing is shipped.
- Checkout is run by Payhip, and payment is handled by Stripe or PayPal. Right after you pay, you get a download link on screen and by email.
- Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where the law requires it, based on where you live.
- Launch prices last until November 30, 2026. From December 1, 2026, regular prices apply. You always pay the price shown at checkout when you buy.
- Guides marked "Coming soon" aren't for sale yet. We don't take pre-orders or payments for them.
- If your download doesn't work, email us and we'll send it again.
Refunds: our 14-day promise
If a guide isn't for you, email support@readclearshelf.com within 14 days of buying it. Use the email address you bought with, or tell us your order details. We'll refund you in full to your original payment method. No forms, no fuss. Most refunds go through within a few days, depending on your bank.
This promise is on top of any rights you already have under the consumer laws where you live.
Using your guides
- Each guide is for your own personal use. You can read it on all your devices and print copies for yourself.
- Please don't share the file, resell it, upload it anywhere, or copy parts of it into your own products.
- Want to use a guide with a class, a team, or clients? Email us and we'll sort something out.
- All Clearshelf guides, pages, pictures, and designs belong to Clearshelf.
Free guide and daily pages
Our free guide and daily pages are free for your personal use. You're welcome to share the link to any daily page. Please don't sell them or post the files elsewhere.
General information, not professional advice
Clearshelf guides share general information to help with everyday life. They are not medical, financial, legal, or tax advice, and they don't replace a doctor, a licensed financial advisor, or another professional. For health problems, see a doctor. For big money decisions, talk to a licensed advisor where you live. Laws, taxes, and products differ from country to country.
Results depend on you and your situation, so we can't promise any particular outcome. For example, our guide on selling a digital product can't promise sales or income.
We use AI tools to help create some of our images and writing. We check our guides carefully, but mistakes can happen. If you spot one, please tell us and we'll fix it.
The legal bits
- We work hard to keep the site and our guides accurate and available, but we can't promise they'll always be error-free or online.
- As far as the law allows, Clearshelf is not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility for any guide is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here takes away rights you have by law.
- These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
- We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. The terms that applied when you bought a guide still cover that purchase.
Your information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
